London Scottish are pleased to confirm that Harry Sheppard will be returning to the Club after two seasons away at Bedford Blues.

Sheppard left after the 2016/17 season where he made 19 appearances scoring 21 points.

The fly half who can also play at inside centre made his London Scottish after coming through the Academy in 2016. He made his debut during the 2015/16 season campaign against Rotherham Titans.

Since joining the Blues he has made 25 appearances scoring one solitary try. However, he made the majority of those appearances last season after suffering an ankle injury this year which has stunted his playing time.

Sheppard combines ferocious defence with his deft ball handling and accurate kicking game. Last season for Bedford he slotted 30 conversions and 13 penalties.

The 22 year old is excited to return to London and play for the Scots.

“I am really pleased to be heading back to Scottish, I have some very fond memories at the Club and am looking forward to making some more. They’re playing a really exciting brand of rugby under the guidance of Steady (Graham Steadman) and I can’t wait to be a part of it moving forward!”

Director of Rugby Dave Morris is looking forward to adding Sheppard back to the Scots set up.

“Harry is a quality player that supporters will know well from his previous spell with the side. He is an astute fly half with a good skill set and accurate kicking game. We are happy that he has chosen to return to the Club and we look forward to seeing him in action next season.”
