Mantella leads the Scots against his former side

London Scottish head into Round Four of the Championship Cup and face a rematch against Ealing Trailfinders, the side they lost to at the RAG last weekend.

London Scottish head into Round Four of the Championship Cup and face a rematch against Ealing Trailfinders, the side they lost to at the RAG last weekend.

Winger Miles Mantella will be looking reverse the fortunes of the exiles this weekend against his old side as he leads the Scots for the first time in his 81 appearances.

This weekend also sees the first start of the season for Professional Entry Programme member Miles Wakeling who has featured off the bench over the last few weeks. London Scottish Lions winger Taino Goveia will make his debut for the side on Saturday after training with the squad since pre-season.

Head Coach Nic Rouse has made a total of six changes to the starting lineup for the rematch with the Trailfinders.

Jimmy Litchfield comes in for Jordan Brodley who slides down to the bench as Jared Saunders replaces Pete Austin in the front row. Phil Cringle starts at tighthead again after making his 50thappearance for the Scots last Friday. USA international Dino Waldren has returned from his Autumn European tour with the USA to be named among the replacements. Billy Harding is also named on the bench.

Byron Hodge and Theo Vukasinovic remain in the second row. Highlanders Player of the Season last year Miles Wakeling starts on the blindside as Luke Frost shifts to number eight. Matt Eliet remains on the openside as Mark Bright swaps down to the bench.

Josh Barton gets his start of the season after a loan spell with Chinnor in National One and some impressive displays from the bench in recent weeks. Jacob Perry remains at fly half. Rory Jennings makes his return from a 5-week suspension to be named on the bench.

The centres are unchanged with Ben Mosses and Richie Vernon starting at 12 and 13. Dual-registered Elliott Obatoyinbo moves to full back to replace Joe Luca Smith as Miles Mantella skippers the side from the right wing. London Scottish Lions player Taino Goveia debuts on the left wing.
