London Scottish have named their side for the opening fixture of the Championship Cup tomorrow night as they take on arch rivals Richmond at The Athletic Ground.

There are a few changes to the side that lost to Doncaster two weeks ago as the exiles look to avenge their 24-19 loss to Richmond in September.

Tjiuee Uanivi and Dino Waldren are both away on international duty whilst Lewis Wynne has been recalled back to Scotland by the SRU after his impressive form in the league. Scrum half Rory Brand and centre Matt Williams have been recalled by their parent club, London Irish.

Dual-registered Bristol Bears prop Ollie Dawe starts again at loosehead and partners Richard Palframan who is at tighthead. Pete Austin will start at hooker. It is fitting that the current Bombardier in the Army will start as Scottish commemorate the centenary of The Armistice before tomorrow night’s game.

With Uanivi’s absence, Luke Frost will partner ever-present Byron Hodge in the second row. Matt Eliet returns from a foot injury that he picked up on pre-season tour in Scotland to start on the openside. James Tyas will start on the blindside with skipper Mark Bright at number eight.

Grayson Hart and Jacob Perry continue to build their partnership in the half backs as Rory Jennings continues to serve his suspension.

Ben Mosses returns this week after last featuring against London Irish and he will join Richie Vernon in the centres.

Craig Duncan comes in on the left wing as Rob Stevenson missed out with concussion. Miles Mantella and Joe Luca Smith make up the rest of the back three.

Billy Harding and Ed Hoadley return on the bench. Theo Vukasinovic and Matt Marley could make their first appearances of the season for the Scots as they are named amongst the replacements.
