Scottish head to Lady Bay in hunt of first win of the season

After an encouraging second half performance last weekend for the Scots where they pushed Ealing Trailfinders right to the wire, Head Coach Nic Rouse has selected a largely unchanged side for tomorrow’s Friday night fixture against Nottingham.

After an encouraging second half performance last weekend for the Scots where they pushed Ealing Trailfinders right to the wire, Head Coach Nic Rouse has selected a largely unchanged side for tomorrow’s Friday night fixture against Nottingham.

Only two changes have been made to the starting XV after the positive display last weekend. Jordan Brodley comes back into the front row replacing Jonny Harris and Rob Stevenson switches in for Craig Duncan who also drops down to the replacements.

Pete Austin retains his spot at Hooker after a strong display against the Trailfinders and partners the incoming Brodley and Phil Cringle in the front row. Injured front rowers Jared Saunders and Tom Smallbone are not far from recovering from shoulder injuries and will be fit for selection soon.

Byron Hodge and Tjiuee Uanivi continue to develop their relationship in the second row. Mark Bright again leads the side from number eight and joins James Tyas and Lewis Wynne in the back row.

The backline only sees one change as abrasive winger Stevenson comes in for Duncan. Rory Jennings will be looking to replicate his man of the match performance from last weekend against the Trailfinders.

Richard Palframan is the only new face on the Exiles bench as he comes in for Jimmy Litchfield after missing out last weekend.
