London Scottish have named their side to face Loughborough Students at home tomorrow as they conclude their pre-season preparations before facing Richmond next Saturday as the Greene King IPA Championship kicks off.

It is the first side named by new Head Coach Nic Rouse and his support staff with only three players named in the starting XV who were with the Scots last season.

Mark Bright returns to a Scottish lineup after a two year absence and will skipper the side from number eight.

New recruits Jordan Brodley and Richard Palframan will start as the props with former London Scottish junior Billy Harding starting over Jared Saunders at hooker. Jonny Harris and Tom Smallbone are both recovering from injuries and were not considered for selection.

Loughborough Alumni’s Luke Frost and Theo Vukasinovic will partner up in the second row to face their former University. Tjiuee Uanivi is named on the bench after helping Namibia qualify for the Rugby World Cup in Japan last week.

James Tyas will start on the blindside with Glasgow Warrior loanee Lewis Wynne starting on the openside with Bright at the back of the scrum. Matt Eliet was ruled out of the game with a slight problem with his foot.

Scottish international Grayson Hart will have the nine shirt for the game with Rory Jennings starting at fly half as Ed Hoadley and Jacob Perry are named amongst the replacements.
