Welcome to the New Season for London Scottish Minis and Juniors

For those returning from last season, we hope you’ve had a great summer break, and for those looking to join for the first time, welcome, you’ll feel right at home.

For those returning from last season, we hope you’ve had a great summer break, and for those looking to join for the first time, welcome, you’ll feel right at home.

The season kicks off on Sunday 3rd September.

MPU

Minis (U6-U12) start at 9:30 and run to 11:30. So if you are new to the club, head down to the pitch in front of the club house and we’ll direct you on to the relevant age group coaches. Remember there are two clubs playing at the ground, so make sure you ask for London Scottish to avoid disappointment. For those parents that want to show willing, without being always on the touchline, the clubhouse is a great respite with a variety of food, teas and coffees, and the bar for those looking for something stronger.

Juniors (U13-U18) and the junior girls start at 11:30 and run to 1:30. We will be on the back pitches, so head round to the car park at the rear for easy access. You’ll see us on the various pitches wearing blue. Pitches get allocated on the day so we can’t be more specific, but for those in the know the whiteboard in front of the changing rooms has the weekly allocation of teams to pitches so you wont get lost.

If you need any kit, the club shop will be open for anything you need.

If you have any questions, just contact:

Juniors (U13-U18) Ian Hannah    email: ianhannah@btinternet.com
Girls Steph Lawn        email: stephlawn@blueyonder.co.uk

Who knows, you may be the next Freya, or Harry, both of whom are just back from playing (for England) at the international Junior Touch Championships in Dublin. Freya plays junior rugby for London Scottish and is now a European Champion having won the the girls U18 competition. Harry’s team won the bronze in the mixed U15’s.

Well done to them both!
