London Scottish have named their team to face Munster ‘A’ in the final round of the British and Irish Cup on Saturday afternoon.

The Scots will need to win to have any chance of qualifying in Pool Three, and with Yorkshire Carnegie all but confirmed as pool winners, the best chance of going through to the quarter-finals is as one of the three best runners-up.

The starting line-up features 11 changes from the side that beat Ospreys 49-7 last weekend in round five.

Kurt Schonert and David Cherry start in the front-row alongside Max Maidment, who starts for the first time since mid-October after returning from injury.

Josh Thomas Brown also returns from injury, making his first start since November with Rory Bartle  in the second-row.

In the back-row Alex Brown retains his place at blindside, with Mark Bright captaining the side at number eight, and Tinus du Plessis making his debut for the club at openside flanker.

George Horne returns at scrum-half, and he is joined at fly-half by Lee Millar, who will be making his 49th appearance for the club.

Craig Jackson will start at inside centre with Jason Harries returning to the starting line-up at outside centre after missing the win over the Ospreys.

In the back-three Peter Lydon starts at full-back, with Andrew Turner on the right wing and Russell Weir on the left wing.

James Gibbons, Adam Kwasnicki and Matt Shields offer front-row back-up on the bench, with Will Carrick Smith providing a second-row alternative. Tyrone Moran is also a substitute, the versatile Irishman can play hooker or in the back-row.

Matt Heeks and Nathan Earle will also look to make an impact from the bench, as the British and Irish Cup pool stages reach their climax.
