The Exiles' Dan Mugford scored a last minute penalty to secure the vital losing bonus point.

Scottish had got themselves into a commanding 17-5 lead through two converted Charlie Hayter tries. Moseley, who were playing their final home game of the season, were ultimately too strong for Scottish, who now face Esher next Saturday for the deciding clash in the RFU Championship relegation pool.

London Scottish Head Coach Simon Amor is confident that his side will secure safety next weekend against local rivals Esher.

Amor: "We know they're a dangerous side and will be on a roll after their win. But we'll still be confident because we know we're a good team and we're playing at home which is our big strength."
