First I would like to thank all the supporters for their help and support on the Esher game. I realise that it was not the result we wanted and showed we have some learning and experience to gain to compete at this level with a consistency of performance.

Last Match

There were some great passages of play both in attack and defence. We had the ball for 28 minutes compared to Esher's 13 minutes. We created but did not finish on the day, and Esher did. All credit to them they took their opportunities with ruthless efficiency. We have much to be proud of as a team and a club from that day and look forward to many more days with such a great crowd and match day experience.

Then back down to earth. No Disrespect to Nuneaton, but after the big day, the adventure to the Midlands certainly tested their resolve in terms of the facilities and a hard working team. It was a challenge to get mentally right for the game, but I am proud of the "Job" the players did in getting back to winning ways and some of the tries were outstanding in terms of execution and pace. Talking of challenges they come no bigger or better than Blaydon. What a great result for them against Redruth and they will provide a physical challenge today for us.

At last!!!

After 6 failed attempts the London Scottish Elite Academy assessments took place last week. I must thank all the players and coaches for their help in getting it done. I was really impressed with the overall core skills, focus and attitude of the players. The new selected Academy players will be posted on the website and my ONE CLUB website next week.......

With the renewal rates for the 2010/11 season now confirmed and the form available to download from the membership page, LSFC is putting on an exclusivity period on the season ticket applications for those season ticket holders from the 2009/10 campaign - to be able to choose their seats in advance.
