Another frustrating fortnight. No Core Skills, no Elite academy and limited training. It would have been nice to build on the momentum created by the victory over Cambridge with a trip to Launceston. But on the positive side it has allowed injured players more time to recover and it has been great to see some long termers back training last Monday. This gives me the opportunity to thank our medical staff. We have worked hard as a club to develop an extremely high standard of medical provision. Our Race to Recovery policy has been instrumental in helping us to perform to our potential. Led by Chris Newman and Russell Kesley on the physio front, with Stephan Chew and Polly Baker as our Doctors- their attention to detail and willingness to improve our systems continually sets the players up to succeed.
