We addressed this in the second half against the wind and came away with the result we needed to keep the pressure on Esher.
The challenge gets tougher today with Stourbridge, we need to be at our best to perform to our potential.
As with all my programme notes, it gives me the opportunity to explain what is being put into place in the ONE CLUB process. Last game we looked at the Elite Academy. This week we look at the Core Skills Club:
CORE SKILLS AND CONDITIONING CLUBS
Aim:
These clubs are for those players that want to get better at the core skills required for the game and learn the techniques for quality conditioning.
If the foundations are in place early we will benefit in the senior teams.
The Core Skills Club is for U12 - U18 age groups.
Open to any player who just wants to get better.
Held on a Monday evening at 6.00 pm - 6.45 pm.
Based on the Conditioning and Skills Curriculum for the Elite Academy.
February to April 2010 will see the launch of the U7 - U11 Core Skills Club.
