Captain's Corner
May I start by offering a warm welcome to everyone here today; I hope you all managed to keep yourselves busy last weekend without a London Scottish game to watch!
The week off for the squad can be both a blessing and a curse. There is no doubt we needed the break to rest some chronic injuries, it's been a physical campaign so far and from that aspect the rest was welcomed (especially by the fossils in the squad: Volley, Smudger & Sly). The flip side of that is that we risk losing the momentum we have built up so far in the league. We have been playing some excellent rugby in recent weeks and it's imperative we keep that form up going in to the next four games leading into Xmas.

The key for us remains to start the game well. We let Otley in for the first 30mins and it took some choice words at half time before we came out and showed what this team is all about. The second half we were a different team, we were full of pace power and aggression, and the one lesson we have learnt in this league is that if you don't produce that game after game you will be duly punished.

Stourbridge are another team who have the ability to tear us apart if we allow them. I know a number of their players from previous encounters and they are a dangerous outfit who will receive our upmost respect. It's set to be an excellent game and we will be giving everything to ensure we kick start the next 4 games with a win.
