We now have a run of 4 games before the next round of the cup. As always, this is a defining stage of the season, teams are starting to find there feet, gaining an understanding of their opposition and of course the great British weather! The majority of the boys have had a week off to prepare themselves physically and mentally for the battles that lie ahead.
The first battle starts today and the players can't wait. Training has been accurate and intense, confidence is growing and we are really starting to develop as a team. As a coach I couldn't ask for more from the boys. If we keep improving in all areas on and off the field as we have been doing, we will certainly be where it counts come April.
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome Brett to the team. Brett has shown his qualities as a coach and has made an impact immediately, gaining the respect from the current coaching team and players straight away. Brett has been focusing on our attack shape which is allowing Simon Amor to focus more on defence.
I'm still trying to convince them both that we should just maul it up the pitch at every opportunity - they quite rightly remind me I'm not playing anymore, or am I !!??
