Youth Rugby

In order that all players benefit from being at London Scottish we are committed to providing the very best available coaching. 

As a result we have regularly won county titles at Under 15s 16s, and 17s level, but more importantly, we regularly provide players for County, regional and Scottish Exiles sides and in the last few seasons we have at last seen several players graduate from mini and youth rugby to appear in the club's 1st, 2nd and 3rd XVs.

London Scottish youth sides play on Sundays at noon, and in addition, training is on Wednesdays at 7pm. 

New players are welcome at all age levels.

We compete in the Middlesex leagues, as well as playing friendlies with local clubs and those from as far as the south coast and the midlands. Many age groups will go on an Easter tour - in 2007 the Under 13s 14s, and 15s are all touring. In previous years teams have been to Canada and France - as wel as Scotland!

Each age group is totally reliant on the commitment of parents to organise and manage. Additionally, we run a fund-raising programme to enable us to employ part time coaches.

This means our youth coaching is among the best in the area. The players get to work with up and coming coaches, many of whom have played professional rugby and who only recently played at youth level themselves, and it gives the coaches themselves invaluable experience, as well as vital income!

We rely on donations and fund-raising efforts of parents and friends to provide team strips for each age group and travel to matches.
