While London Scottish First XV continue their successful season at
the top of in the London North Two, their younger counterparts are
thriving.
Following a very successful Fun Day in June recruiting at the club
goes from strength to strength. The Minis section (Under
7s to Under 12s) have increased their membership by over 50% and the Youth
teams are looking stronger than ever before. The Club has a clear policy of
inclusion and making rugby an enjoyable experience for all players
and all abilities.
Teams restart training on Sunday 4th January and we would like to
invite any children who are interested to come and join in. Girls
and boys of all ages are welcome. Our home ground is The Athletic

Do your children really want to spend Sunday mornings helping with the
chores at home? No?
Then bring them along to play mini rugby at London Scottish and have some
real fun!
Boys and girls can start as young as five years old. The very best could,
eventually, play professional and International rugby. Everyone will learn
a great game and make friends for life.
Training sessions, home and away fixtures, local tournaments and festivals
take place on Sunday mornings from September through to April. Training
sessions, broken down into age groups from Under 7 through to Under 12, from
9.30to 11.30 am.
We are committed to the RFU continuum, making rugby fun, but with the
emphasis on skill, technique and above all, safety. A high standard of
coaching is provided by qualified RFU coaches.
It's fun for the rest of the family too - there's breakfast and lunch
available in the club on Sunday mornings and parents are encouraged to take
an active role in the running of the club. Indeed, for parents who are
willing to help out with coaching and refereeing, we will pay for the
courses. |
