As always, the highly professional and well drilled Scottish B Team arrived at the Medics Stadium to the roar of applause and the screams of adoring fans. It would be fair to say that there was not a seat available at any price. After a gruelling warm up of elite drills and grids the Scots were ready to face whatever the opposition threw at them. The spectators waited with bated breathe for the whistle that would signal the start of something beautiful. |

As the B's sat in the Rossyln Park bar enjoying a post match beer, Paul Shapiro remarked "it does not taste as good when you lose" to much nodding of heads from the rest of the team. Scottish went into the game after a strong win against last season's unbeaten champions, Wasps, in a match where Scottish did not concede a point. Unfortunately, this week we ended up losing 22-10 in a frustrating game where the B's did not fire on all cylinders for a full 80 minutes, in arguably a game that we could have won. |

It was a bright sunny day when Scottish started its Merit table campaign. We had, like always, a tough start against defending champions Wasps 2 and also probably one of the longest games ever!! We were off to a great start with a quick try and conversion within the first 10min. this was followed by us dominating the rest of the first half and bring us to a lead of 17 – 0. |

On a bright sunny day, a scratch London Scottish IV team took on their Richmond counterparts away. The warm up took the pattern of a get-to-know your partner or catch-up-on-old news session. However, with many seasoned campaigners in the side this was not seen as a negative.

As the only Scottish team at home, we inherited a good number of new supporters - thanks to them for their support and hopefully they enjoyed the game enough to come and watch again. It was a tough game, and the Kiwis, despite a smaller pack and never really looking like scoring, kept the pressure on until the final whistle. |

On a pleasant late January afternoon, London Scottish Bs, who were wanting to build on victories in the last two games, brought good support to face a typically determined Bank of England side. The game started with frenetic pace and soon Scottish were in Bank's 22 and offered a 3 point opportunity, which Eddie Gardner struck straight through the posts. From the restart, Scottish pressed again, but in quick succession lost Ross McMillan, Rob White and Richard Taylor to injuries bringing on the entire bench of Tim Phillips, Al Lind and Tyrrell Leighton before 10 minutes had passed. This did not stop Scottish maintaining the pressure and after a kick to the corner, Tim Footner drove over from the back of a maul, the conversion went wide. |
