WORTHING 13 vs LONDON SCOTTISH 71

London Scottish put in an outstanding team performance to beat Worthing 71-13 at Roundstone Lane, Angmering, to move 19 points clear at the top of National League 3 South following Ealing’s loss at Dings Crusaders. Scottish ran in eleven tries during the afternoon, with determined territorial play in the pack ably supported by some excellent passing and movement from the back line.

London Scottish took a massive step towards promotion and the National League 3 South title after a 19-16 victory over second-placed Ealing following a thrilling game at the Athletic Ground. The result leaves Ealing eight points adrift of Scottish, who also have a game in hand over their West London rivals, and just a point ahead of third-placed Rosslyn Park.

Simon Amor was the star of the show as league leaders London Scottish ran out 18-7 victors against third-placed Rosslyn Park following a bruising encounter at The Rock, orchestrating a strong first-half performance from his usual position of scrum-half, then switching to fly-half after a heavy collision with an opposing player resulted in James Brown being knocked out just before the interval.
