Old Albanians came to the Athletic Ground determined to spoil the Scottish promotion party, and for spells during the game gave the home team a stern test. However, despite not playing to the high standard of last week, the Scottish team duly secured top spot in the league and rounded off the league campaign unbeaten.
For five minutes the visitors used an effective kicking game to put pressure on the home team. Some impressive performances at the bowling alley: Alex Cheeseman winning the tournament amongst the boys, with Alex and dark horse Doug leading the way in the “seniors” event! Then a chance to explore the dining options of the area before heading back for an early night (or not as the case may have been...). |
