National League Three South

Lydney 6 London Scottish 16

Scottish ended a run of three away defeats with a solid win. Scottish led early from Fiztgerald's try, which came about when Cholewa kicked to the corner.

Despite long spells in the Lydney half Scottish could not add to the opening score, and turned around 6-5 behind, after Westall had punished the only two errors in their own half with penalties that were excellent in the wet and windy conditions.

After the break Scottish mastered the adverse weather and the slope against them and continued to dominate. Typical forward scores from Alesbrook and Ball were the least they deserved, and but for a knock-on in the build-up could have added the bonus point try at the end.
