London Scottish completed their pre-season preparations with a very good away victory at fellow Championship rivals Esher 13 - 15. Scottish opened up a 3 - 12 first half lead on the back of a dominant and excellent display by the pack, which allowed the backs to exploit the space created. A significant number of changes in personnel in the second half shifted the play in favour of Esher, however Scottish finished strongly sealing the win.]]></description>

Scottish gave debuts to number of new players at the club and will have learned a good number of lessons in this pre-season friendly.]]></description>

Ayr were put on the back foot from the off as the London Scottish new look pack dominated proceedings. Not to be out done, the London Scottish backs contributed 4 trys in a match which was witnessed by a large crowd in the latest pre-season instalment.]]></description>

As part of the pre-season preparations, London Scottish visited Blackheath's training ground at Well Hall for their first run out of the season.  Scottish used this match to give the majority of the available squad game-time, in a match which was played over four 20 minute sessions. Scottish ran out winners 33 -7 scoring 5 tries in the process, with a number of the new players at the club in high prominence.]]></description>

Full credit to Barking who performed superbly throughout this match and only an unforced error by the Barking backs in the closing minutes of the game allowed David Howells to intercept a wayward pass and race 90m down the pitch to score between the posts and secure the victory.]]></description>

Scottish scored four tries before the half time whistle, in a match whose final outcome was never in any doubt. With title rivals Barking again failing to secure a bonus point, Scottish have now opened up a three point gap at the top of the league, ahead of their final match show down next Saturday.]]></description>
